I recently returned from my annual gemstone buying trip in Tucson, Arizona, where gemstone miners, vendors, and lovers of gems from around the world gather to share their gems with designers and collectors like myself.
I am excited to share some of the treasures that will be making their way into the Original Eve Collection from the 2025 treasure hunt!
If something catches your eye, be sure to email hello@originaleve.com to claim your gems!
Aquamarine Pair

A stunning example of aquamarine at its finest, this quality of aquamarine is extraordinarily rare and becoming increasingly so. The aquamarine material that is currently being mined is a far less saturated quality. As time goes on, material like this that was mined decades ago becomes less and less available and even more valuable.
I am thrilled to be able to work with such gorgeous stones and include them in my collection!
These aquamarine come with Gem Reports from American Gemological Labratories (AGL).
Diamond Strands

This year, I brought home several strands of diamonds. Yes, you read that right! These diamonds have been cut into beads in three shapes: I have rondelles that are beads with facets on all sides; polished cubes that take the rough cubic form of the diamonds and polish each surface, and rough cubes. Diamonds grow in cubic form and these beads are drilled, natural, uncut diamonds. The effect is gorgeous, subtle sparkle in rough form.
I am very excited to use these as highlights and centerpieces in coming pieces!
Green Tourmaline Pairs

Bright, bold, flashes of green erupt from these rectangular green tourmaline gems. With a gorgeous checkerboard facet pattern on the face of the stones, the light reflection is absolutely dynamite.
I have two pairs of these stunning green gems.

Aquamarine and Labradorite Strands

Blue, greens, and gray remain favorites for the Original Eve Collection and I was continually drawn to these colors when selecting gems this year. Featured here are an array of Aquamarine hues and Labradorite strands that I can see mixing and matching to celebrate this gorgeous color palette.

Golden South Sea Tahitian Pearl Pair

Golden South Sea pearls are among the rarest and most sought-after pearls in the world. They are also exceedingly difficult to produce, growing in only a few remote locations in Southeast Asia and taking 7-10 years to form a single pearl in a mollusk.
This pair of South Sea Tahitian Pearls has a shocking gold hue that is begging to be set in 18 or 22 karat gold! With a slightly elongated spherical shape, they will make for extraordinary drop earrings for one very lucky person!
Email hello@originaleve.com to claim these pearls!
Sapphire Clusters

I was taken by the shimmering effect of light as it danced on the surface of sapphire briolettes. Each stone shimmered and sparkled as it moved, so, naturally, gathering very small sapphire briolettes into clusters creates an even more spectacular sparkling effect!
I am very excited to create a few pairs of scintillating drop earrings in bold colors using these gems! With green sapphire, blue sapphire, and orange sapphire/ruby options, these earrings are guaranteed to wow.
Stay tuned to see how these beautiful gems become incorporated into the Original Eve Collections! And remember to reach out if something speaks to you and you want to work with me to customize a piece using the stones I found!
