I am excited to announce that Original Eve Designs has been selected to participate in the 47th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. The show will take place from Friday, November 3rd through Sunday, November 5th, 2023, with a Preview Party on Thursday, November 2nd at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
About the Show:
The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show offers a special opportunity for the public to meet the country’s finest craft artists and to learn about and purchase their work. The show is the premier exhibition and sale of craft in the country. It will showcase the work of 195 craft artists, carefully selected from over 500 applicants in a highly competitive jury process conducted by craft experts.
The crafts exhibited embrace a striking variety of forms and functions, including: glass, baskets, jewelry, both wearable and decorative fiber, metal, paper, leather, furniture, ceramic, wood, and mixed media.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is presented annually by The Philadelphia
Museum of Art Women’s Committee for the benefit of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The event attracts 10,000 visitors to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia over a
period of three days. Funds raised are used to purchase works of art and craft for the
permanent collections, to support education programs, and to contribute to conservation and
publication projects.

Original Eve at the PMA Show:
I am thrilled and grateful to have been accepted into this highly coveted exhibition! Last year, I was accepted in the 46th Annual Show as an Emerging Artist. To reapply for the 2023 show's general admission and be granted a spot amongst such incredibly talented jewelers, craftspeople, and artists is humbling and tremendously exciting!
This year, I will be presenting an assortment of fine jewelry using one-of-a-kind gemstones that I have hand-selected from the world's premiere gemstone suppliers. The pieces will range in price from $600-$12,000 and include casual every day fine jewelry, as well as extraordinary pieces perfect for special events and milestones.
The body of work I have developed for the show has been thoughtfully designed to highlight the nuance and interest of each and every stone with special care and attention paid to unusual inclusions, color patterns, and interactions with light.
This year, I have several new styles that I will be showing, including a new style of briolette earring that features an 18k yellow gold bud that holds a shimmering gemstone drop. I have been developing this style to include gemstones such as chalcedony, smoky quartz, prasiolite (green amethyst), aquamarine, etc.
I am looking forward to showing an array of diamond band rings with unique layouts and patterns that can be customized to the wearers' ring size and gold color preferences. The rings feature diamonds in various shapes, setting styles, and layouts--each ring a dazzling display of detail and attention.
Included in this year's exhibition will also be one-of-a-kind candy necklaces featuring a variety of unique gemstones with handmade 18k clasps, Tahitian Pearl Pendants that can be worn alone or as wonderful additions to your charm collection (also make great gifts!), and an array of unique gemstone earrings that are sure to delight.
I hope to see you at the show where you can see my new work in person!
